Workshop overview
This workshop has been specially designed to support EYFS practitioners. We will use a range of interactive techniques and resources to ensure that our online training gives you what you need to plan, prepare and deliver an effective response the new EYFS Framework and Development Matters. It will cover:
- The ethos, aims and implementation of the new EYFS framework
- Key features of effective practice and how to deliver
- Changes to Development Matters and how to use effectively
- How SCARF supports you in meeting children's needs
- Responding to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic
- Refreshing practice and positively embrace the new framework
- Opportunities to ask questions and share experiences with other EYFS practitioners
Workshop faciliator
Ellie Wild-Rees is a specialist in Early Years teaching, with particular expertise in play pedagogy, child development, planning in the moment and staff development.
She worked in Early Years settings in London and East Hertfordshire before joining Coram Life Education in 2018 and has supported the development of the SCARF Early Years curriculum.
