Confidence with numbers: practice makes progress
“Progress is not achieved by luck or accident, but by working on yourself daily.” Greek philosopher, Epictetus.
Regular practice with maths will help your child to improve and gain in confidence. But sometimes it's not easy to find the right materials for your child to practice.
On this page you'll find trusted sources of maths activities and resources, set out in themes, to help you find the right materials to help your child practise regularly. Remember that little and often is often the best way to tackle maths practice.
National Numeracy have a wide range of activities. You can sign up for their free resources below.
White Rose Maths also offer a wealth of free resources to help children practice.
Maths with Michael films - also from White Rose Maths - are great ways to help you get to grips with different subjects in maths including place value, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and algebra.
